You should use the very simple technique of dividing your whole day work/tasks into four parts as -
- Important and Urgent
- Not important but urgent
- Important but not urgent
- Neither important nor urgent
Take some time and figure out what things are important for you to achieve your goal and what are the things that are not so important to you to achieve your goal and what are the things that are hindrance in the your to achieve success.
The best way to eliminate any distraction from your daily routine is to slowly eliminating it from your daily life. For example, if you use social media 4 or 5 hours a day and want to cut off social media from your life then instead of completely removing social media in one day you should eliminate it slowly. The first day you can use it for 3 hours, then the next day you should use it for not more than 2 hours and in this way you should lower the time that you give to social media and finally you will able to completely eradicate social media from your life as a distraction.
You can apply this technique to get rid of any distractions or bad habits in just a few weeks.
